The grant is a 10% waiver of the tuition remaining after the transfer of credits if an applicant enrolls in one of the programs available at the college and is applicable at the end of the program. Students must note that the grant does not result in cash payment to them or a member of their immediate family.
Also, students cannot combine the Legacy Grant with any other scholarship or grant offered by the college, but can share up to half of the grant’s value with an immediate family member enrolling at the same time as them. The grant, however, is not transferable to non-family members.
Candidates who are given Legacy Grants are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and 90% attendance.
Students must meet all admissions and financial requirements of California College San Diego for the initial and continued enrollment and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA to qualify for the grant.
California College San Diego has been at the forefront of providing, fast, flexible, and focused education to students through its wide range of high demand degree programs in the fields of healthcare, business, and computers.
The eligibility criteria for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program include a High School diploma or GED credential. Students are also required to attend a campus interview. Classes start every month to maximize opportunity for interested candidates.
